The Temuka Ladies Club - Friendship recently held their Christmas meeting, enjoying good company along with entertainment by the ‘Wallingford Wingers’ who are all residents at Wallingford Rest Home.

The choir was recently formed during the covid-19 lockdown. They sang a medley of Christmas songs and confessed it was their first outing and were feeling a bit nervous. However, no nerves were apparent and they pulled off an entertaining performance.
A Christmas morning tea was then served, followed by the Ladies Group - Friendship members reciprocating with items of their own. Later on Christmas presents were exchanged. The morning concluded with a ‘sing-along’ of Christmas favourites, ably accompanied by group member Elizabeth on guitar.
